Ubuntu is Hot - New Computer Operating System - It's FREE !

Ubuntu is a community developed (open source) operating system that is great for laptops, desktops and even servers - and best of all dear readers, it is FREE. Regardless as to where you might use your computer - at home, college or at your work place, Ubuntu has most all of the apps that you'll ever need. It offers email, word processing, web server software and all the typical programming tools that might be needed.

There are absolutely no licensing fees and no strings attached. It can be easily downloaded and shared with business associates, friends, and neighbors for the user-friendly fee of ZERO.

The folks at Ubuntu will be issuing a new desktop and server release about every six months. This means that you the consumer will always have the most up-to-date and greatest applications that the open source world has to offer.

The Ubuntu team of I.T. specialists designed the system with security in mind. Free security updates will be available for at least 18 months on the desktop and server. With their Long Term Support version, comes three years worth of security updates, and five years on the server. There is no extra fee for the LTS version, and upgrades to newer versions of Ubuntu will always be free of charge. Now fellow consumers - how can you beat a deal like this !
